Insurance Verification Requirements
To accurately assess your coverage prior to treatment, we require the following information:
Insured name
Member ID or policy number
Date of birth
Insurance carrier
Employer name (if applicable)
Once received, our administrative team will perform a benefits breakdown including deductible, annual maximums, frequency limitations, and procedure-specific coverage percentages.
Financing Options for Non-Covered Expenses
For treatments that are not covered, or if a patient does not have insurance, we offer third-party financing through CareCredit, which may include no-interest or extended-payment options (subject to credit approval).

What dental insurance plans does Dental Expressions accept?
Dental Expressions accepts most major PPO dental insurance plans, including Delta Dental PPO, Cigna PPO, Aetna PPO, MetLife PPO, UnitedHealthcare PPO, Guardian PPO, Humana PPO, and Blue Cross/Blue Shield PPO. We currently do not accept HMO plans, Denti-Cal, or discount-only dental plans.

If a procedure is not covered, or if you have exhausted your annual maximum, we offer financing through CareCredit, allowing you to divide treatment costs into monthly payments. Options may include no-interest promotions (subject to credit approval).
Can I be seen if my insurance information is incomplete or pending?
Yes. You may still schedule an appointment. We will assist with verification and obtain benefits information either before your appointment or at the time of service, depending on carrier's response time.
Do you accept new patients with PPO dental insurance?
Yes. We welcome new patients with PPO plans and ensure they receive accurate benefits explanations before initiating care.
What should I bring to my first appointment if I have dental insurance?
Please bring:
- Your insurance card (physical or digital).
- A valid form of identification.
- Any prior radiographs if available (optional).
This allows us to confirm benefits and maintain accurate clinical records.
